11am-10pm
7 days a week.
Like many people when you travel for long periods of time, don’t matter who you are you want a little piece of home. Coming from Southern Cali I have to have my Mexican food. Throw some Chile Habanero sauce in my polo burrito and now we are talking and wash it down with a nice cold cerveza you’re in heaven. Being the “tourist” that I am at the moment I did some exploring around Bondi beach. I sign with burrito in it caught my eye, Beach Burrito Co. “Hahaha yeah right!! That’s to good to be true considering Aussies can’t cook Mexican food!” So I stumbled my way over saw the sick Dias da Morte paintings, good selection of cerveza’s and somewhat okay stash of tequilas and I thought this might be okay. I order myself a Pollo burrito (they had know idea what I was saying), sorry can I have a chicken burrito and a Corona. My burrito was pretty expensive considering its Oz and I’m use to Cali pricing, but the burrito was “normal” size a tasted so good (for a bunch of Aussies). I felt like I was back in SoCal with the good tunes they played and food they served, not to mention the vibe you get as id tour on the le playa in Mexico.
Located North Bondi Beach, Beach Burrito Co. is a highly recommend stop if you’re looking for quality Mexican food with an okay happy hour on Mexican beers.
