Today Budweiser announces it is bringing the BUDX global platform to America for the first time during Super Bowl weekend in Miami, Florida.
Budweiser will take over a hotel in South Beach, dubbing it the BUDX Hotel, with a series of curated private events and performances from Friday, January 31 to Sunday, February 2, 2020.
This three-day takeover includes performances by Halsey, Black Eyed Peas, Diplo, De La Soul and Channel Tres as well as the first annual “Masters of the Mic” karaoke competition with Dwayne Wade presented by ONE37pm and a Gillette Barbershop pop-up with celebrity barbers. During the weekend, the brand will host over 200 influencers and trailblazers – “Kings of Culture” – from over 20 countries as part of its BUDX platform, giving them the stage to showcase their talents alongside these top global performers.

New York, NY – January 22, 2020 – Anheuser-Busch InBev’s (AB InBev) global brand, Budweiser, announced today it will bring the BUDX global platform to America for the first time during Super Bowl weekend in Miami, FL. BUDX is a global program that unites and spotlights outstanding creative minds in music and culture from around the world. During the weekend, the brand will host over 200 influential “Kings of Culture” from over 20 countries giving them the stage to showcase their talents alongside top global performers Halsey, Black Eyed Peas, Diplo, De La Soul and Channel Tres.
From Friday, January 31 to Sunday, February 2, 2020, BUDX is taking over a hotel in South Beach with a series of curated events and performances for the “Kings of Culture” from around the world. These influencers and trailblazers, spanning diverse cultural fields that include art, music, fashion and sports, will join Budweiser’s global creator community – BUDX. This includes tastemakers such as Atiba Jefferson from the United States, DIVINE from India, YOUNGS TEFLON from the United Kingdom, Kondzilla from Brazil, Karina Istomina from Russia and BEENZINO from South Korea.

ONE37pm x Dwyane Wade’s Masters of the Mic Karaoke: ONE37pm x Dwyane Wade will present the first annual Masters of the Mic karaoke competition on Saturday, February 1, 2020. The competition will pit some of today’s biggest celebrities, athletes, and notable personalities against each other in an all-out karaoke battle complete with backup dancers and catwalk. A notable MC and celebrity panel of judges will crown one pair of competitors the Masters of the Mic. ONE37pm x Dwyane Wade are expecting 1000+ athletes, legends & industry insiders who are changing the game to be in attendance.
Gillette Barbershop: Gillette (NYSE: PG) will bring the Gillette Barbershop to BUDX, an exclusive pop-up barbershop for the culture creators, influencers and VIP guests wanting to look sharp throughout the weekend. The Gillette Barbershop will feature a roster of celebrity barbers, including Rich Mendoza, Mark Marrero and Vince Garcia, who will offer an elevated grooming experience for BUDX guests using the latest innovations in shaving from Gillette, including the Gillette SkinGuard razor and Heated Razor by GilletteLabs.
