         Ode to Sunshine is a captivating fusion of peace & love folk music meets all of today’s pertinent indie rockers. “It feels like sun, saunas, dogs, friends, Old Crow and Coke, Eli Thompson, beards, hot days, long star filled nights, good books, hikes, shorts, BBQ and just the way we wanted to make our first record,” says lead singer Jonathan Jameson of San Diego, California. Lead guitar player Sean’s riffs and runs highlight what I can only assume it must have felt like to be the child of a rock star on a 1960’s magical tour bus mixed with what it feels like to be looking out of a window on a train ride across America, leaving your thoughts feeling processed and content. A fever catching mix of old John Wayne movie piano music and Bob Dylan’s harmonica, this is the perfect summer cocktail to hit up the beach, throw a bonfire and enjoy yourself with a group of friends.
