Q&A with Les
“I live in a trailer ….
I like to party ….
I drive a creepy white van with no windows”
RESiN: Tell us about your first time on a bike.
LES PARSONS: I first rode a bike as a child, then didn’t ride again until the age of 19.
RESiN: How long have you been riding Pro?
LES PARSONS: It depends on what you consider Pro. I have made money riding, but don’t flip so I’m more at an in-between stage right now.
RESiN: Were you hooked right away?
LES PARSONS: Of course, doesn’t matter what life is throwing at me, once I throw my leg over the bike it all seems to go away.
RESiN: What was the first huge trick you pulled?
LES PARSONS: My huge trick I would have to say is my Turndown Whips, I put a lot of time into them and I am pleased with how they are.
RESiN: What trick are you working on now?
LES PARSONS: As of right now I am working on all my tricks, trying to make everything solid and as big as I can possibly get them. Other than that the flip is going to come soon and I would like to perfect my Holy Grab to Rock Solid.
RESiN: Do you have any rituals before a competition?
LES PARSONS: Normally I’m never able to eat before a Demo so
“I just drink Red Bull”
RESiN: Do you have a particular competition strategy?
LES PARSONS: The strategy is to come home in one piece and to Win of course! Doesn’t always go according to plan tho.
RESiN: Any companies that you would like to add to your sponsorship list?
LES PARSONS: I am currently working with Bell Helmets to get on with them for 2014 and I still am looking foe a gear sponsor.
RESiN: Share a moment that you were particularly proud of yourself?
LES PARSONS: I’m proud of myself right now because of how far I have come and how far I still have to go. It wouldn’t be possible without the people I have in my corner supporting me and for that I thank them all.
RESiN: What do you do when not riding?
LES PARSONS: My life is basically built around riding, spending time with my girlfriend and working so I don’t have much “Spare Time” I would enjoy sleeping in now and then.
LES PARSONS: Hopefully in 5 years I will be pushing the sports limits, competing with the best of them and having fun riding my dirt bike!
