RESiNMAG.COM: Please list the name & instrument of each band member?

R.D.S: Nick – singer/harmonica Carson – rhythm guitar Vince – lead guitar Keith – drums Chris – bass. All of us attended school of hard knocks.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Where are you guys from?

R.D.S: Dana Point, Ca.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Where do you chill?

R.D.S: San Juan Capistrano, Ca

 

RESiNMAG.COM: How did you guys become a band?

R.D.S: By writing music and performing it.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: How did you meet, How long have you been together?

R.D.S: Well we all grew up in the same city (Dana Point) I’ve know everyone since I was a kid, I met nick in little league, carson in fuckin pre school, keith played the 1st punk show I ever went to, and vince well vince is the baby of the band so we were all friends with his older brother but we knew of him. We have been a band since july 13th 2006 (Friday the 13th).

 

RESiNMAG.COM: THE RED DEViL SQUADRON where did the name from?

R.D.S: Nick had a wet dream about WWII fighter planes.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: How many albums do you have?

R.D.S: We have one record under out belt as of right now called INDIAN GIVER.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: How would you describe your own music?

R.D.S: The sound of thunder coming out of Ed Geins truck. But if you don’t know what that sounds like I guess you could say we are a punk rock n roll band that has a blues foundation.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: How has your music evolved since you have been playing together?

R.D.S: It’s evolved well. The shredding has only gotten harder, the newer songs are catchier without it sounding poppy we are happy with how its turning out.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Any creative differences among the band?

R.D.S: Ha we sometimes disagree but nothing bad.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Do you have a record label if not, how did you put out the albums, any help with funding?

R.D.S: We currently do not have a label but we have our great friends at lost… enterprises that help us out a ton with stuff like records, t shirts they have been a huge help.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: What are you currently working on?

R.D.S: Writing new songs so we can put out a 2nd record soon.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Can you explain how the writing process works?

R.D.S: Someone comes in with a cool riff plays it and if everyone likes it we will work on it as a group.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Long term goals as a group?

R.D.S: “To destroy everything in our path”

 

RESiNMAG.COM: What was your BEST show experience?

R.D.S: Probably the 2nd punk rock picnic or one of our hometown shows those are always fun.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: What was your WORST show experience?

R.D.S: Hmmmm well probably the time we got booked the play a sober living home or the time we got booked to play a white power show.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Any lessons that have been learned that you would like to share with young musicians?

R.D.S: Just play the music you love and do it cause you love it don’t worry about what other people think.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Where can people find your Music?

RESiNMAG.COM: One good story that comes from being on the road!

R.D.S: One time we were coming home from Vegas and we were out of weed so people were taking resin hits from the pipe, well our roadie tried the jew our Carson out of a hit (Carson has one leg) so Carson took his prosthetic leg off and hit him really hard in the face with it.
