STIIIZY, one of the best-selling, fastest-growing cannabis brands in the U.S., officially unveiled its first flagship store in Downtown Los Angeles yesterday. Over 300 local fans lined up around the block to celebrate the launch and be some of the first to witness the 6,500 square feet state-of-the-art experiential retail concept.
The space features an art gallery-like exhibit including a 29-foot installation by world-famous California artist, RETNA, a custom LED light tunnel with programmable projection mapping, rotating Instagrammable capsules by local artists, and a grand entrance logo water feature.
Renowned NBA star, Al Harrington visited the retail space to interact with STIIIZY fans while professional skateboarder, Cyril C Roy Palmer and local music artist, Marty Grimes among others also stopped by.
On the heels of the daytime launch, the celebration continued with a VIP party hosted at Hubble Studio. Upon entering, guests were treated to a patio area hosting a designer STIIIZY smoking lounge, Kogi and Son of a Bun food trucks serving local favorites and a pop up churro bar courtesy of Churro Boss.
Attendees were taken through a custom LED rainbow tunnel as they made their way inside the studio where the party gathered. Local artist, Jules Muck entertained the room with a live painting exhibition. Across the room, apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas among others were spotted at STIIIZY’s specialized photo activation while other fans got their STIIIZY devices customized at the engraving station. DJ Honey kept music flowing throughout the night as guests enjoyed specialty cocktails.
Blueface made an appearance at the party before hitting the stage. The L.A. native rapper delighted fans with a live performance set including hit tracks “Daddy,” “Bleed It,” “West Coast,” and wildly popular “Thotiana.”
This weekend’s launch marks the first experiential retail experience of its kind in the cannabis space with several STIIIZY retail locations to come. The Downtown Los Angeles celebration follows STIIIZY’s recently announced expansion into Michigan.
